Travelling Patterns is the latest addition to a series celebrating textiles and textile art by Tara Books. This unique visual assemblage explores the journey of pattern-making—moving from textile to paper, the decorative to the narrative, and across diverse contexts.

The project brings together the creativity of four artists—Aditi Jain, Ruchi Shah, Verena Gerlach, and Henning Wagenbreth—who collaborated on a shared brief to craft visuals for letterpress printing. I had the stellar opportunity to design the block-printed bookcover, striving to represent all four artists’ styles while respecting the constraints of the medium. Additionally, I typeset the inner pages, ensuring a cohesive design experience throughout.
